About Us

The RedBull Powder Company Limited was established in 1997 to bring competition to the New Zealand explosives market and has since grown steadily to become a dominant force in the quarry and construction blasting industry.

RedBull operates throughout New Zealand and the South Pacific from offices in Penrose, Auckland. The mechanical workshop, explosives storage, logistics and manufacturing sites are located one hour south of Auckland.

Managing Director Peter Shapiro and Operations Director Mike Henderson bring together complimentary skills and experiences. Peter has 25 years international construction and explosives management experience and company ownership. Mike is a long-established icon in the New Zealand industry and offers unparalleled experience and expertise in the practical applications of explosives and blasting services.
