The technology and expertise developed to control vibration of Martha Mine were subsequently introduced by RedBull in Colorado, USA and Kalgoorlie's SuperPit in Western Australia, for high-wall stability and vibration control in large-scale open-pit mining. These practices now form the backbone of the systems and methods used to control vibration in highly-sensitive, built-up residential and commercial areas of Auckland.
