Magazine Keeper

RedBull Powder Company manufactures a range of explosives products and provides comprehensive drilling and blasting services to quarries, mines and construction projects, both in New Zealand and abroad. RedBull is recruiting a Magazine Keeper to provide effective inventory management, maintain compliance requirements and support the business to meet its production and operational schedules.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Management of magazine stock and preparation of pre-orders
  • HSEQ & MHF compliance requirements
  • Management of raw material stocks
  • Devanning & logistics of container movements (including Transitional Facility requirements)
  • Assisting the broader Kopako team to meet operational schedules

You will need to bring;

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A team player attitude that can also operate independently
  • Strong personal presentation, punctuality and attendance
  • Physical fitness and positive motivated attitude
  • Clean and current full Drivers Licence and clean criminal history

This position is available for an immediate start.

Drill Transporter Operator/Yard Hand

RedBull Powder Company manufactures a range of explosives products and provides comprehensive drilling and blasting services to quarries, mines and construction projects, both in New Zealand and abroad.

RedBull is recruiting for a Drill Transporter Operator/Yard Hand to facilitate RedBull servicing customers quarry and construction sites throughout the North Island. This job will consist of transporting our drills from site to site and helping in the yard with general duties.  Due to the vast area being covered there is a requirement for occasional overnight trips away.

There is an opportunity to move into a Trainee Driller role for the right candidate.

You will need to have;

  • Minimum Class 4 NZ driver licence
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
  • Work safely and in line with NZTA rules and regulations
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures and instructions
  • Strong personal presentation, be fit and healthy with the ability to complete manual handling tasks
  • Self-disciplined with enthusiasm to work, a positive attitude

Our drill workshop is in Pokeno, but daily jobs are spread between customer quarry and construction sites across the North Island. Ideally the successful applicant would reside in the Northern Waikato, Franklin District or Southern Auckland area.

This position will report to the Drilling Supervisor. You must be able to work effectively alone and within teams, contributing positively to RedBull’s strong values and culture. In return we offer training, career and growth opportunities, and the chance to work within a dynamic growing business.

Blasting Labourer - Otago

RedBull Powder Company manufactures a range of explosives products and provides comprehensive drilling and blasting services to quarries, mines and construction projects, both in New Zealand and abroad. RedBull is recruiting a Blasting Labourer to provide hands on support to the mobile processing delivery units, blast crews and plant operation at our Macraes Mine operation in Central Otago.

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to;

  • Loading blastholes in a mining environment
  • Support the mobile processing delivery unit operators
  • Comply with safe working procedures
  • General labouring and housekeeping duties

You will need to bring;

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong personal presentation, punctuality and attendance
  • Physical fitness and positive motivated attitude
  • Clean and current full Drivers Licence and clean criminal history

This position is available for an immediate start. The position is rostered across 7 days and will involve weekend work. Start time is 6.30am and transport is provided to/from Palmerston to the mine site. This role can at times be physically demanding and is mostly based outdoors. Production Manager

RedBull Powder Company manufactures a range of explosives products and provides comprehensive drilling and blasting services to quarries, mines and construction projects, both in New Zealand and abroad.

RedBull is looking to recruit a Production Manager based at our Manufacturing Plant south of Auckland. This role is integral to maintaining the high quality of our product, safely and on schedule.

You will need to ;

  • Have demonstrated experience in compliance, quality control and scheduling
  • Have excellent communication skills, including verbal and written
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills including the ability to influence and manage stakeholders
  • Have a clean criminal history

Ideally, this would suit someone who has:

  • Experience and knowledge in manufacturing plant processing or operating
  • Prior use of quality control systems
  • Experience in complying with Major Hazard Facility legislation and regulations

 

Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and complete a Ministry of Justice check.
